Lisa Byrne20/04/2024Learning Spanish with Elena for one year with group classes. She's a great teacher and the classes are very topical and interesting rather than typical linear courses. Joined a trip to Los Patios in Puerto de Santa Maria in April 2024; had am amazing time with some fantastic and authentic experiences which would be difficult to create as a tourist on your own. Dawn Stapleton05/03/2024Came to the Sevillanas (Flamenco) lessons. A bit nervous as I did not know any of the students when I arrived. No need to worry. What a welcoming group. Instantly part of the group and went on to dance the night away. The lessons were mostly in English with a few Spanish words and counting. Very achievable and fun. The dance was broken down into easy steps and everyone had a great time. The teachers were very welcoming and it was a very low-pressure environment. James Horn06/02/2024I’ve really enjoyed Monday Spanish classes with Elena and her ‘poco a poco’ relaxed and informative approach. In addition to improving my understanding of the language I’ve learned a lot more about Spain and its culture particularly Madrid and northern Spain which Elena obviously knows well. Getting to know the others in the group over coffee has been great fun even if we don’t do a lot of Spanish.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

He loves her approach to teaching, very caring and making the lessons interesting, fun and enjoyable, with the perfect combination of theory and practice. She also brings many cultural elements into the classroom, making strong connections between the language and the communities that speak it. The lessons are easy to follow, challenging and encouraging. A few weeks in and my confidence is growing. Highly recommend.
